It's so hot I can't sleep and there's not much activity of posts so I'll write one and see if anyone wants to join in.

The question is 'Why do you gamble? '.  As with any vice we don't have to. I would be a mixture of (twisted) enjoyment, for the times i win big and past addiction. Gambling has consumed my life for 27 years since I was 15.

I'm not silly with it now I'm older but i couldn't imagine not doing.

Maybe others have different answers - do you do it professionally, through boredom, as a hobby, for the thrill?

Life essay's not required. This is just for my curiosity. One word answers are fine.

Havent since december,

But I find myself missing the old games and really wanting to try some of the new ones recently.
Crazy Time is the first wheel game Ive wanted to try EVER.

Right now? It's the thrill of games giving huge hits like 100k X  stake +

Why I ever got excited about £500 jackpot machines or online games with max wins of 1000x I couldnt tell you, but they were exciting at the time as an alternative to FOBTs back in the day.
The key thing is staying within limits and not getting tilted. Can be especially difficult!

For a hobby or thrill is fine, but it becomes a problem when it's a boredom buster when not consumed as part of a healthy diet mix of other activities.

Funny you should mention the FOBTs. I played arcades for so many years. When I started watching streamers properly and understood about the x of a win and arcades are fixed at 500x, I never stepped in one again.

I gamble for the thrill of a big win when playing slots but when betting on the horses or football it’s probably narcissistic of me but I like to think I’m more intelligent than the guys who price up the bets and can find value in some bets. Not to to say I always do but I like the challenge lol. Would probably be cheaper doing the crossword in the herald newspaper 😂

Sorry to be boring, but quick reminder. When the fun stops, stop! Please never gamble out of boredom, and only gamble what you can afford to lose.

When you think about it, everything you do in life is a gamble. I gamble my spare money for the excitment and I often win big. The thrill of a jackpot of is powerfull. I personally have had two major jackpots, one for £63,000 and another recently of $80,000.

The last one was on $50 spins so not that surprising but the £63K win was on £2.50 spin, so a real jackpot.

Very nice. I was only ever in a position to do £50 spins once in my life after a big win but i bottled it after £3k went really quick without a bonus.

Don't stake much but me and hubby try a few now and again. If hubby has poker win.  I enjoy games always have miss spent youth in arcades lol never won anything major tho. and sites are getting worse for legit offers and far chances to win. Yet the Kyc for players is getting tighter n tighter in UK. Why we need open honest fair platform where players can join play fair odds n offers . But also be able to talk openly about B.S see on streams and shady casinos.  And let legit streamers play and open up opportunity 's for other people to get involve .  Gamblers den streaming platform come on Jimbo .. all verified casinos and streamers
