Thought I'd share this with you.
Got rid of Google as a browser probably 8 months back. Don't like Google and all the tracking. Ended up with a browser called Brave. If you turn ads on you get paid each month via a cryto currency called BAT. The ads aren't that intrusive, a little box bottom right of the screen which you can click away or it will disappear.
Now this won't make you rich. You get paid anything between £2-£6 a month in the BAT equivalent. My laptop died at one point so I lost what I had accumulated but I started again on the new laptop and in maybe 5 months I accumulated enough BAT that I had a £ equivalent of £39. Bit of a pain then linking the Brave wallet to a crypto wallet - verification (proper KYC) took 3 days and then an hour to figure how to actually withdraw to my bank but low and behold, for using the internet as I do I have £39 minus a £2 fee.
You don't have to withdraw the money. Once in the wallet which has an exchange, you can buy other crypto currencies and make more money if the exchange rate changes. One other feature if you don't want the BAT you can donate it to creators that use Brave and are on Youtube, so you could donate to the lads each month and it wouldn't cost you.
Yeah I've been using brave for maybe 2 years now so earned a decent amount. If you link uphold wallet to your brave browser, that's the one I found easiest and cheapest to use.
I applied at both as I heard they can take ages to verify. Gemini won so i went with them. How much BAT do you have after 2 years?
Like 200. Think the price was 0.3 when I first started. But I've sold here and there. Free money like you say though so can't complain. I have noticed though in the past few months the rewards are getting less and less even though my ad amount is the same. Makes sense as the more people that start using brave the less there is to go around.
If anyone doesn't know, you should make a coinbase account and verify yourself and you can earn crypto for answering basic questions on certain cryptos. Literally impossible to get the answers wrong. I've maybe done 15-20 and my current holdings from it are £180 and I sold a few that had a massive pump last year for like £500. It's probs only worth £20-£30 to do it now but it's free at the end of the day.
Seen those surveys. Think I'll give them a bash. Cheers
Nice one
