Made me chuckle this one. Leovegas have a secret limit on my account. Eventually during a month a pop-up will tell me I can't deposit anymore due to safer gambling. To be fair the limit must be good thinking about it, at least a grand. Anyway, it's like Fight Club with the Casino's now. First rule of Fight Club.....don't talk about fight club (although it exists). First rule of casinos.....don't talk about hidden limits (although they exist). I was giggling when I was having the following chat:
(My name is Colin by the way 😂)
So, question: Do you think casino's should be transparent with these limits or are you ok with it being secret?
It shouldn't be a secret. Surely if they have determined a limit that they feel you can afford then you knowing that limit is fine. Makes zero sense to have it a secret.
Hello David 😂
Every day is a school day. I had always thought you were dumb and dumber but Colin and David is good as well
In all seriousness though i can see the merit in the secret limits as it would allow the casino ultimate flexibility where if they could see the signs of problem gambling they could act silently whereas a limit that gets refreshed monthly may encourage some to have a splurge on day one of every month right up to the declared limit.
Limits are needed 100% - on every account. Not sure about the need for the limit to be a secret. I think if a limit is set, the player then can set a budget on how many times they will deposit/play at that casino.
I am guessing its a deposit limit and not a secret play/loss limit, because I once deposited £500 into a casino and when my balance went to £400 they stopped my play as i was at my loss limit. It then took them a week to give me my £400 back.. Safe to say, that casino are in the trash
