In the pub with a mate who gambles. He was playing a fruity, old school proper fruity of King Kong Cash.

He was on the feature and the logo had turned red. Back in the day this meant guarenteed jackpot e.g. The Simpsons. Am i right as he didn't believe me and ended up taking a fiver?

Yes I remember that the pub fruit machine went invincible once red on the logo, letting you choose the best feature or take the jackpot.

You have pubs that still have proper old skool fruitys and not just £100 blueprint cabinets 😲

So much more fun in those days, although for many games you'd have wanted to kill the board when it's flashed red so you could force out the streak / extra jackpot instead...

i remember the pacman one that used to go red meant you got the jackpot and of course everyone's fave the simpsons.
